Last December, as 2017 drew to a close and people began to focus on celebrating the turning of another year, a Chinese cryptocurrency company was facing pressure.
With a little over two weeks in the year left to go, the company's team was on schedule to expand to Singapore and needed a team of five - four software engineers and one sales executive. If they weren't able to find the candidates, two teams would be flying to Singapore with nothing to show for it.

Pressed for time, with a number of candidates in Singapore heading off for Christmas and New Year holidays, the startup turned to 100offer for help.
- December 12: The company signed up for an account on and began viewing over a hundred candidate profiles on the 100offer platform
- December 14: It sent out its first interview invites - 49 in total.
- December 20-29: The company invites a total of 66 interviews candidates. 31 interviews were conducted - each two hours long - and took place back-to-back, from 9:30am-6:30pm, with a 1.5 hour break for lunch.
- Five offers result within the two week process, filling the five open positions.
Even if hiring works smoothly, the time between hiring and the first day can take a long time. 100offer's consultants, who have years of expertise working with tech talent, were able to fill those positions within the week.
With that core talent team behind them, the cryptocurrency company kicked off 2018 on the right foot and set to work hiring the rest of their Singaporean talent.
